We recognise our responsibility to minimise environmental impact and strive to improve efficiencies and raise awareness throughout the company to ensure maximum contribution from all employees.

We aim to reduce consumption of resources such as energy, water and fuel wherever possible and work hard to ensure a sustainable business is maintained.

We are actively involved in a fully integrated recycling system across all of our offices and distribution centre, reducing and reusing packaging and fabrics and limiting waste. There are numerous recycling facilities throughout the offices, separating plastics, cardboard, paper, cans and organics for appropriate disposal.

However it doesn’t just stop there - we are continually working to reduce delivery mileage by managing delivery frequency and consolidating locations. In the last 12 months we have reduced the number of dedicated UK delivery routes from 55 to 37.

Aurora are replacing standard lamps with energy efficient bulbs both in the offices and stores nationwide, which save energy and emit a smaller amount of heat whilst still providing the same level of lighting.
